iWitness in Spain on Sunday

Nico Rosberg’s girlfriend, Vivian Sibold, has been a welcome visitor to the AT&T Williams motorhome this weekend. Her studies in interior design kept her away from the opening flyaway races of the season and we hope that she’ll be a more frequent visitor to the races now that the European season is underway.
AT&T Williams has had a new motorhome waitress this weekend in Chloe Palmer. Unsurprisingly, for the Williams F1 motorhome is one of the slickest in the paddock, she quite literally stepped up to the plate. “This is the first time I’ve been to a GP in a working capacity,” says Chloe. “It’s hard work, but also very rewarding. I’ve enjoyed it.”
There wasn’t the usual rush to the airport after the race because the cars aren’t returning to Grove prior to the next race on the calendar, the Turkish Grand Prix. The mechanics will spend tomorrow (Monday) rebuilding them in the Barcelona pit garages tomorrow, before transporting them to Trieste, where they will be sent by ship (yes, really…) to Istanbul.
Michael Schumacher was spotted strolling the paddock today, prior to watching the race from the Ferrari pit wall. The seven-time world champion arrived wearing a pair of very dark sunglasses and iWitness found out why: he was partying at the Amber Lounge until the small hours last night. Way to go, champ!
