His opposition included Bernie Ecclestone, Flavio Briatore, VJ Mallya, Michael Schumacher, Robert Kubica, Giancarlo Fisichella and Fernando Alonso. High rollers, high stakes…
Good news: Liam Clogger’s back on-track. Our communications manager ran Hockenheim this evening with, among others, Ed Gorman from The Times newspaper. Liam completed two laps of the 4.574km track in 40 minutes, which, we’re sure you’ll agree, isn’t a bad effort. Are you training for a marathon, Liam?
As the British press piled into the AT&T Williams motorhome this morning, Frank Williams was led to ask if his team was about to break a news story he didn’t know about. No, boss, we were just offering the journos some breakfast. Every Friday morning of every European GP, friends – come on down!
Congratulations to Kazuki Nakajima’s physio Nick Harris. Last weekend he was at Loch Lomond for the Scottish Golf Open with Graeme McDowell, another of his sporting charges. The Ulsterman won the event by two shots. Attaboy!
